I truly believe that education can make this world a better a place.
I remember that my father used to tell us me and my siblings the importance of education.
It took me time to figure out.
At the age of 26, I resumed my education and started my studies to be a personal trainer, because I was sick of having little jobs left and right.
It was time for me to do something with my life. I then found my passion about sports and fitness and how I could help people with it!
It was beautiful, it was a dream coming true.
While I was studying I remember being broke! When I tell you that I was broke, I was really broke ! I had a friend of mine who was a refugee and was not allowed to have people living in the apartment that the government
lend him. So when assigned government workers came, I used to hide in the closet so my friend won’t get into troubles.
The church where I’m going used to pay for my food and used to pay for my bus pass!
I was really grateful because I received fundings from the government, who paid for my entire personal training school semesters tuitions. I’m so grateful for it.
To overcome all the hardships that I encounter while I was going to school, I always kept in mind the vision of me when I will graduate.
With hard work, vision and dedication, I did it! So why not you ?
What could stop you and why couldn’t you succeed as well in your dreams?
I keep learning everyday. Now I am starting to give conferences, still continuing my fitness/ personal training to help people find their way.
Education is a beautiful thing, doesn’t matter your age and/or level. Everybody can learn. Learning is a process and never stops until you decide.
Fulfill your dreams.
Through my adventure across USA, I am not only hoping to raise fund for refugees children education, but also to raise awareness about the importance of education and inspire people across the world to fulfill their dreams and make it become true!
